Stand up for the Champions!

As of this morning, Manchester United are the 2006/2007 English Premiership Champions. It's been 4 years, but we've finally got our mitts on it again. Chelsea gave us a good run and the pretenders were sorted out by October. No doubt the UCL Semi-final exit at the feet of AC Milan was a disappointment, but that makes this accomplishment all the more sweeter. The table doesn't lie, the goals scored tally is testiment to the style and brand of football we play. We are proof that an investment in youth is not a misguided one. We are also proof that you can still get results without having to throw entertainment and attacking football out the window.

Congratulations to the team and Sir Alex for a memorable season.

Now excuse me while i go and drown myself in Champagne.

About Me

Born in Malaysia but bred in Sydney, was (and prolly still am) on the way to becoming an accountant/business risk advisor/investment banker out of university, but somehow has ended up interior designing instead. Now residing in Melbourne's inner suburbs, Shaun finds himself tinkering with food, photography and caffeine. Oh, and the odd-bit of travel.
